The tapered barrel on P1 bushings is split on both sides, allowing the bushing to clamp more firmly onto the shaft than quick disconnect or taper lock designs. Each P1 bushing includes a machine key for added torque carrying strength in demanding applications.

Note: P1 bushings are only compatible with pulleys and sprockets specifically designed for the P1 bushing series.
