Taper-Lock Bushing

Taper-Lock Bushings are identified by a four-digit code representing two key dimensions: the first two digits indicate the maximum bore size, while the second two reflect the bushing length. For example, a 1610 bushing has a maximum bore of 1.625" (16 = 1-5/8") and a total length of 0.625" (10 = 5/8"). Metric bore sizes are marked with "MM" after the dimension (e.g., X 25MM). Designed to fit flush into tapered bushings, sprockets, or pulleys, these steel bushings use an 8° taper to wedge inward, securely gripping the shaft and sprocket bore.
